Submitted my app last night and say today...

that my supplement and common app were already downloaded. Does this mean they've already made a decison? I just find it wierd to think that they might have already made a decision on me and I won't know about it until Spring.

Haha no it doesn’t mean they already made a decision. It just means your app is now in their database and can be accessed by the Harvard adcoms. Since you just submitted your app, they probably won’t read it until January or February since they read apps by the date they were submitted.

They’re still in the process of putting everything in its place. Not all files are completed/linked properly, so wading through applications now would be a logistical disaster.

i thought on their pamphlets and stuff it said they started reading apps on dec 1, in the order they were submitted?
i’m sure at least SOME apps have been fully downloaded/reviewed/decisioned (teehee. i love making up words)
in which case, it’s kinda agonizing to think that they already know and we all have to wait four months for the decision :O

They’re probably beginning to read the files for those who completed their apps before the priority deadline.

and you are applying to harvard?

@ NJSoccer: me? not sure who your question was directed to… :stuck_out_tongue:
but yes. I am.

Or me? Yes, I am applying to Harvard.
