Okay I submitted my application a week ago, and now I scared that the UC won't accept my application, because the application unit counter said I had 52 units instead of 60+. I filled out the same info that I did for the TAG, but the UC apps counted less units, could that be a possible glitch? The thing is I'm already guaranteed acceptance at UCR through TAG, but not with the other UC. Below is a screen shot of the all the classes I have taken, can somebody see the error in my part, if there is one?

How many UC transferable unit do you think you should have?

The problem may be that some of those units are nontransferable or CSU units. I don’t know why UCR wasn’t a problem, probably because they are not as strict on th e unit minimums?

I know in my CCC trigonometry only counts for CSU units.

how come the uc application doesn’t state our GPA and unit count?

Minus the trig and the W from calc, I got 62 units. I don’t know which classes are UC transferable. Go over your course catalog to make sure. If it is all good, then 62 and 52 seems similar. Maybe a glitch?

^ I the TAG removes the courses that are not CC transferable which trig is part of. Even after you remove the non-transferable courses, which is 7 according to TAG. It will leave me with 58, which is definately more than the 52 the UC app is mentioning?? I also have 5.88 units of AP credit, so I should definately be over 60. I don’t know why this mistake occured. I submitted it because I couldn’t see any mistake that “I Personally” made. And Tag was just a solidifer that I did not indeed make a mistake.

Ryan, where is the unit count and gpa a on the app supposed to be?

I can’t seem to find it on my app.

@ mestudystuff, there are none lol. thats what bugs me.

@ryan, I think your only given a unit count on the uc apps if you fall short of the 60 unit requirement. And you should already know your GPA haha. Well, I’m really scared that my application will get rejected, but I’ll keep my fingers crossed and hope for the best.

thanks for the reply uchopeful. i’ve been keeping track of your posts lately and i hope everything turns out to be okay.if youre going to school this week, you should stop by at the counselor office and talk to one of them. to keep you at ease

Okay that makes sense. I just would like there to be a count and a gpa listed somewhere so we as the applicants know for sure that the app itself is consistent with the numbers we have.
