My son is applying to Cornell and his Aunt wrote a rec letter for him. Originally he thought he was applying to the College of Labor and Industrial Relations but upon further research, the Business degree is actually under the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. The rec letter has been submitted and specifies the ILR school. IS there any way she can upload an updated version? If I delete her submission, it still leaves her as a recommender so if I try to add her back, it just puts the submitted letter right back in the box. THANKS.
@johnnamjh My D goes to Cornell and her uncle (Cornell Grad) wrote her a letter of rec. It was her 3rd letter and it was submitted through the Cornell website. Her other two letter were from teaches that were sent through Naviance/Common App. Did the aunt submit through Common App? If so, then I don’t know what you do.
I don’t know how you can delete the submission. I don’t think you can. But if it was submitted through the Cornell supplemental submission webpage, then just have her resend it, noting the change(s).

Thank you!! I think that is the answer. Because the app is not submitted yet, he can remove her as a recommender and she can submit the correct version the other way. If it had been submitted I think we would’ve truly been out of luck. Thanks again!!
