Submitted UC App, However Answered One Question Wrong. Help?

I've included to show the questions Im talking about. During the checkout process it asked me if my parents have been in Cali for the past 3 years. They have, though as you can see I submitted "no."

I'm somewhat stressing about this.

I asked at my CCC's "UC App Center" workshop on campus today and I was told that specific question would not affect my admission but rather for tuition purposes it might. I was suggested to explain my error in the comments section during the January portion of when I submit my Fall 2009 grades...

Anyways, figured i'd ask here as i've usually received better responses here on this forum as opposed to some part-time counselor at my CCC.

Seems I can’t add a photo anymore…but you know…

still wondering.

wait.

i thought that page was optional?

■■■

i’ve been hearing different things about that page…

but…it does state its for tuition purposes.

at the uc app workshop happening all day at my CCC they said it counts once you’ve been accepted for them to determine how much fin aid you may need or not.

***** LIFE.

Residency Information for Tuition Purposes
Father a U.S. Citizen no info added
Mother a U.S. Citizen no info added
I have been physically present in CA for the last 3 years, excluding brief absences for vacation purposes no info added
My father has been physically present in CA for the last 3 years, excluding brief absences for vacation purposes no info added
My mother has been physically present in CA for the last 3 years, excluding brief absences for vacation purposes no info added

do you guys think i can call in and have them change all answers to “yes” ? sorry, i don’t mean to hijack your thread, but hopefully the more responses you have the more people will want to check this thread out…

and in regards to your question, i think all that matters is that YOU’VE physically been in california for at least 3 years, that way you’re considered a california resident. even if you’re parents weren’t in california for 3 years, that doesn’t affect whether YOU’RE an out of state student or not. sorry for not being helpful enough…

its cool, you’ve joined the boat too of figuring the importance and revision of this section now…

MY EXACT QUESTION. Hahaha, I’m glad I’m not the only one who misread the question.

i have the same problem =( i put on yes for my dad but no info added for my mom… i have no idea why i forgot to do that. Can we fix this later on? like Jan 7 when we update our grade?
