'submitted' vs 'downloaded' ? help!

<p>Ok, I'm a procrastinator, and I submitted my common app and supplement and payment all at the same time, which was like 5 min before the EA deadline. <em>facepalm</em>
I checked the homepage and it said everything was 'submitted' 11/1/08. (Well, the payment was still pending, but the transaction was completed a few minutes later.)</p>

<p>Today I got an email from my college saying 'You have submitted your supplement but not your common app'. I went onto my common app account and it said that my supplement and forms were both 'downloaded' on 11/3/08. </p>

<p>HUH? My account on the college website still says I'm applying as an early-action applicant...what's going to happen?! (Just asking to check before I email admissions and sound like a complete doltz.)</p>

<p>You won't sound like a complete doltz if you tell them exactly why you are confused.</p>

<p>But since it says Downloaded, it seems that you're fine.</p>

<p>was this to the university of chicago? B/c I sent my common app in before my supplement (like 3:00pm on Nov. 1) and they sent me an email today saying that I need to turn in my common app!</p>

<p>Yeah, it was for UChicago... hmm... what are you going to do? I guess if someone else also has the same problem, it must've been a glitch or something? I'll wait it out for now. Keep me updated ; )</p>
