I'm very business-minded but my passion is art, so my question is this: If I'm applying into a marketing major, can/should I submit a portfolio to the school despite the fact that I'm not applying into art school?

Generally, it’ll be a waste of your time. Admissions officers aren’t qualified to judge art portfolios.

Thanks, I just wanted to check cause I’m looking for anything that could possibly boost my chances haha.

I thought admissions officers will send the art/music supplement to the Arts/Music Department to evaluate??
I’m not so sure either, but that is what many selective schools say…

A few conservatory level or top art school level applicants may find their submissions examined. Otherwise it’s not going to be evaluated. Jane Doe’s piano CD will be in the dumpster.
