OK well my ACT score puts my SAT scores to shame but it seems that almost everyone reports their SAT score to Stanford so will it hurt me if I do not report my SAT scores?

Stanford will require your 3- sat IIs, so when the report is sent, they will see the SAT I anyway.

do they require 3 sat2s this year?

I thought it was two because Writing is part of the SAT now.

Actually, Stanford doesn't require any SATIIs. They just recommend that you take two, one of which they "strongly recommend" be MathIIC.

yeah that's what I thought

So is a 31 too low for Stanford? I might take the ACT again. I don't want to but I was only one 50/50 math question away from a 32 so I guess I should. Will it make that much of a difference? My Sat is a 2120 if it matters.

Sharkbite, a 31 and 2120 are fairly comparable. They aren't necessarily too low for Stanford, but I would consider a retake of either the ACT or SAT with a 33+ or 2200+ as the goal in mind.

Taking SAT IIs will help you more then retaking other tests. They are not "required", but 98% of admitted students have them.
