Submitting ACT Scores--Simple Q

I’m sure most of you already know the answer to this, but we’re just entering the college app process with our oldest so have lots of questions: Here’s what I’m wondering: When submitting ACT scores to colleges, do they only receive the one composite score? Or is it like the SAT where they receive a breakdown of individual scores by section, i.e., they see the math score, the english score, the writing score, etc.?

Actually, ACT provides a lot more information than anything you mention. Go here to see a sample form of what ACT provided to colleges until this year http://www.act.org/aap/pdf/collegereport.pdf Starting with tests taken this year, ACT is actually adding more information to that prior form; see the following for a description on new scores and indicators being added: http://www.act.org/newsroom/act-will-offer-enhancements-to-act-test-to-improve-readiness-and-help-students-plan-for-success/
