Hey, ok so i got a 28 on the June ACT with no writing because my mom just forgot to. So i decided to study and take the ACT with writing again in September. I am not sure of how well i did but i'm afraid i did worse. So say i got worse than a 28 like a 26 or 27. I didnt think i did well on my first test either but i dont what to expect on this second test. If i send both scores in do you think they will just add the writing onto my 28 or they will look at the two scores separately. Thanks for any responses.

Well, it depends on what the college does. Some colleges superscore (where they take the best scores in each category for a composite score). Otherwise, they will not transfer the writing over. Each test stays how it is, but many colleges don’t even require the writing portion (or some may ask for it, but not really consider it). The two scores will be seperate, unless they do superscore.
