I would die to submit my french transcript (9th grade), which has comments on me from every single of my teachers. Because our US school registrar has made an interpretation of that transcript already, however, I hesitate on sending it.

Do you know if I can send those additional materials, which give a lot more information about myself?

A transcript from the 9th grade will not make much of an impression, in my opinion. Since you say that the school registrar, or school counselor, will already have made note of it, I suggest another option. Write an essay about why French is important to you. Do you want to continue study in French at MIT? If so, have you researched the study abroad program, the French courses available at MIT, and the possibility of living in a house where everyone speaks French? You have a wonderful essay opportunity here, should you decide to seize it.

Actually, I am not slightly interested in majoring in French. THe only reason I want to do this is because it would explain my low class rank (not even top 10%), since my transcript got messed up when I immigrated here. My US GPA is MUCH better than my french grades, which is ironic, because I speak french better than english (I basically have perfect GPA in the US).

What concerns me is that MIT almost accept no persons who did not rank top 10%. I want to show them that had my transcript not been messed up, I would probably have ranked valedictorian.
