Hey guys I recently took the ACT and scored much higher than on my SAT and I was wondering if colleges that require you to send all of your ACT testing history and SAT testing history would notice if I only sent my ACT scores. Morals aside, will a college know if I only submit my ACT score and just forget about my SAT score, or even vice versa? Also, If colleges would notice that I did not submit anything about my SAT will they deny admission? Thanks
colleges want data to admit you. The fact that you don’t submit SATs and only ACTs means nothing. Relax. Congrats on your better ACT score. You’re fine.
When both are submitted, colleges use that test they believe has the higher score and do not hold lower scores against you. If the college requires you to send all scores, do so. As to whether they will find out that you withheld a score, you need to check what your high school puts on your transcript sent to colleges. Many put all your scores on the transcript, and, if yours does, your withholding a score when ordering scores sent by College Board will provide the evidence to prove you tried to withold scores once the college receives your transcript and sees the missing test scores.
Awesome, thanks for the helpful advice guys!
