I am an international student. I have done pretty much everything required for the application (just need to recheck and maybe tweak a couple things here and there). I was planning to submit my application on December 31st. However, i have done something completely and utterly idiotic. I completely forgot about my school transcripts. Since I'm in another country, it will take at least a week for American colleges to receive them. Furthermore, I had absolutely no idea that America had winter break at this time (my break started since the beginning of this month) so I can't contact any of the admission offices. In such a case, what should i do?

Colleges:
1. University of Chicago
2. Duke University
3. Cornell University
4. University of Southern California
5. Brandeis University
6. University of Rochester

Ah really? I was really panicking over this yesterday. In that case, is Cornell University an exception? Apparently, they require transcripts before the application deadline.

Wait, in that case, does that mean that I can apply to colleges with a January 1st deadline? My list above is due to the fact that they are all either January 10th or January 15th (except Rochester and Cornell).

If someone would be so nice as to answer :)

Cornell is not an exception. They spend hundreds of thousands of dollars and manhours to elicit great applications. There’s not some delete ■■■■■ with his thumb on a button to auto reject every incomplete file that comes in.

Every one of those colleges is ecstatic you’re applying and are hoping to be able to admit you.

If something is truly missing from your file, do you think they just shred it? They contact you or the school. That’s how it works.
