Currently my ACT score is significantly higher than my SAT score, and if I submit both to Princeton will they consider my best score between the two? I've heard they give preference to the SAT, is this true or not?

i actually called princeton this morning with the exact same question, and their response was, while they "prefer the SAT as an indicator of ability over what the ACT tests for," and "require you send the SAT even if it is lower than the ACT," they will not penalize you for sending a higher ACT score and will consider only the ACT score if it is higher, although they reccomended it could definitely help to raise my SAT if i felt it were far lower than the ACT score.
