Hi! I realized that I made some errors on my commonapp activites. I’ve already been accepted, but do you think I should send corrections to my college, just to be safe? Thanks!
Depends on the errors. If you meant to list Varsity Soccer 2015 to 2017 and listed Varsity Soccer 2014 to 2017, instead, then no. If you listed Key Club 2016 to 2017 but didn’t actually do it, then probably.
lol it wasn’t anything stupid like that. I mistakingly clicked 10th grade and 11th grade for community service when I’m pretty sure it was only in 9th and 12th grade.
Then don’t bother, @throwawayboi69
So do you guys think I should just let it go?
Let it go. Totally.
Agree, it is immaterial to your application. Forget it.
Does anyone else have any advice? (In case you can’t tell, I’m freaking out about this )
It is rare to get such unanimous opinion on CC so relax. Essentially you did what you said, but you just have the years marked off wrong. When you consider everything that goes into your college application (GPA, course rigor, standardized tests, recommendations, essays, ECs etc.) whether you did community service in 10th/11th grade or 9th/12th grade is not remotely important. Stop going over your applications and stop obsessing over a minuscule mistake.
Let me speak for the admissions representatives that are likely working 24 hours a day to get decisions out as quickly as possible:
Please don’t contact us, that is so not important.
