Submitting CSS to New Colleges

Hi everyone, I have a question that I'm sure has been asked before but I can't seem to locate a direct answer. Back in November, I submitted my CSS Profile to the two colleges I was applying to Early Action. Now, I have two other colleges for Regular Decision that also require the Profile. It says on CollegeBoard that you can't delete colleges from your list - you can only add them. What should I do about the colleges that already received the Profile? It doesn't make sense to me that I would have to pay $18 for each if they already have my information. Do I need to sumit a paper CSS to the Regular Decision colleges? I am confused as to the exact procedure and would appreciate any input. Thanks :)

We have the same question. Our impression was that the new submissions would be $18 each. You wouldn't resubmit to the schools where you have already submitted. AND yes....you will have to make paper copy corrections once your taxes are completed and mail them to all the schools...or at least that is what our two schools told us to do. A pain.

CB will not charge you for the EA colleges, just pay the money to send to the new colleges. If you search the css faqs, they list the steps to add new colleges.

thumper:

I agree with the 'pain' point.

After Jan 31, tt should be relatively easy for CSS to allow families to to update or revise (one time) with the prior year actuals, and resend electronic versions to all; fafsa would be done, as well. It would obviously be easier for the colleges too, to receive a downloaded softcopy. But, noooooooo....

Thanks for the help. So the Profile automatically knows not to resubmit to my Early Action schools? Or is there a box or something that I will need to check off somewhere that prevents me from being charged again?
