Submitting Enrollment Deposit for ED?

So Cornell emailed me a waiver for the deposit thing you have to do to reserve a seat at the university. However, I already submitted one application to a school, but am working on getting it withdrawn.

Will reserving a seat at the university before withdrawing all other applications cause my seat to be declined or something? I’m not sure if I should just wait until my application is withdrawn before submitting the deposit, or if I should submit the deposit now.

No harm in submitting your deposit and enrollment confirmation right away … you’re in the process of withdrawal at the other school, so that’s fine and understandable - so long as you complete that process promptly.
