What I'm wondering is if colleges are cool getting my high school's forms (my transcript, teacher recs, things like that) after the admissions deadline has passed, as long as I get my regular application in on time. The reason I'm wondering is because for some reason colleges pick 12/31 or 1/1 as their deadline, which is as good as it being 12/23 because high schools aren't open for the holidays to send in their forms, and it's impossible to send them in before the Common App is officially submitted. I know it's only a week, but it would really help in finishing up some of the more involved college supplements. Now, some schools seem okay with it, but I want to know if this holds true for others. Thanks.

Yes. this is common practice. No need to worry.

Now if it’s late March and some docs haven’t been sent in, then you should worry.
