Submitting information after applying.

I submitted my application for a transfer over a month back. However two days back I was informed that I have been selected for an Internship at Microsoft Research Labs for summer 2011. I am applying as Comp Sci major and to put the worth of this internship in perspective: Prof. John Hopcroft (Cornell university) said, "We have never rejected anyone who has interned at MSR because we know that they select the best". This intern would increase my chances of transferring multifold. Is it possible to add this information now to my application?

Thanks
Karthik

PS: I have applied to MIT, Harvard, Cornell, Yale and Dartmouth.

Yes, look on the websites for those schools and see how they want updates sent. I know that for fr admissions to Y they want the information FAXed in, not sure about transfers. If you can’t find the information on the website, give Admissions a call and ask.

Feel free to fax them; any pertinent information is to your advantage.
You can probably find their Fax number once you log into your application portal, or on their website.

And congratulations! That’s awesome, and best of luck with it!
