Submitting Multiple Pieces of Expository Prose

Hello everyone,
I am applying to Hamilton RD and have a question regarding the graded, expository prose requirement...do you think it would be appropriate if I sent in two pieces? I have only had to write one out-of-school essay during Junior and Senior years because of the nature of my AP classes (all of the essays were in-class, timed), and this one assignment wasn't my best work, so I don't want to send it in. I have a very good in-class essay from AP English Lang from last year, but it's obviously not perfect since it was written in 45 minutes. It is definitely readable (my handwriting's not too bad) and would be about 2 pages typewritten. I called awhile ago and asked if an in-class essay would be okay. Admissions said yes. However, I have also been thinking about this essay I wrote during Sophomore year that was take-home and typewritten (plus, I think the assignment was interesting). Should I send this as well? I am going to explain what I have just mentioned on a separate sheet and and include it with the copies of the two essays.
Thanks in advance. :)

well, i sent in one piece which was also an AP English assignment. It was also really interesting. Im not sure if you could send two, but they never said you’re limited to one. try calling them again to be sure.

Send in the piece where you feel the most confident in your writing. In your case, sending in both is a good idea. I have not sent in my prose yet, how did you send it? Like did you label it expository prose, and you sent it to admissions right?

if i mailed in my expository piece, do I still need to upload the document onto CommonApp?
