Submitting Multiple SIRs

If you’re really not sure by the deadline and willing to waste $100, is it possible (and legal) to submit two SIRs to different UCs and cancel one of them before the housing deadline?

So hard to decide between UCSB and UCD, I’m tempted to do this…

<a href="http://www.universityofcalifornia.edu/admissions/undergrad_adm/apply/after_apply/after_decisions.html%5B/url%5D">http://www.universityofcalifornia.edu/admissions/undergrad_adm/apply/after_apply/after_decisions.html</a></p>

You may accept admission to one campus only. You may not transfer your acceptance from one campus to another after you declare your intent to register. A $100 nonrefundable deposit must accompany your acceptance.

Basically, you can't do it. You can jeopordize your whole UC admission by doing that, so you'll have to come up with a decision.

come to ucsb :)

no..come to ucD lol~

Have you visited any of the campuses? If not, then look through their academic programs online and try to get some pictures of the campus. My two cents...SB has a lively enviroment and is by the beach, but the campus itself is a little too condense for my tastes. UCD has a nice large open campus that can let you escape the crowds.

I'd choose UCSB, except that it seems there's not that much to do at UCSB that's walk/bike accessible. I don't want to sit almost an hour each way on the bus to go to downtown.

What is there to do in IV except party?
Is there a good variety of food, bookstores/other stores, etc?
And how does Goleta stack up?

Zach- I guess it depends on what you are looking for... Goleta has all the big box stores, costco, compUSA, staples, good movie theater, borders, starbucks, pizza, japanese, chinese, etc. all in one area. Easily bikable from campus/IV. Clothes shopping though in goleta is weak... need to go downtown for that. Good luck with your choice!
