<p>Oberlin has a thing saying "please submit your supplement to us ASAP" or something to that effect. I've only just now got aroudn to completing it, as I've been swamped with schoolwork (and six other schools' apps). Is this their roundabout way of saying that they give preferential treatment to applications which are submitted early, or will mine be given full consideration?</p>
<p>Typically, some colleges prefer to receive the supplement before they receieve your completed app.</p>
<p>Get it done and send it. The sooner, the better. I wouldn't say Oberlin gives any "preferential treatment," but I doubt they would view late application materials in a high regard.</p>

<p>As long as your application is not late I think it should be fine, I mean you're not sending it in after the deadline or anything. I think they just wanted to make sure that people didn't think they had to wait to send in their supplement until their common apps were done.</p>
