to submit the school forms, all i need to do is assign my counselor/teachers to the school i'm applying to, and save right? there's no big submit button i need to press?

i'm slightly concerned because i just submitted my common app, supplement, and payment yet the school forms are "not all submitted". might this be because of an offline provider and the status just isn't updated?

Don't worry. You just have to submit your materials but the School Forms section should be filled out be counselor/teachers. And no, there is no "SUBMIT" button for school forms.

Mine also says forms "not all submitted" even though i assigned requests to teachers and my gc but they sent paper apps already. So even though it says "not all submitted" I will still be able to send in my apps?

^When putting their names on Common App, did you include their emails? Make sure that you don't because it should say Offline Provider for the teachers/counselor.

Coffee Addict, YES, you will be able to submit your applications despite your school forms being "incomplete" according to commonapp.org. geek_son's been admitted to his ED college, and his Common App still says his school form submissions are incomplete. That's because he included their email addresses, but they all sent paper forms -- just like in your case -- and the Web site has no way of "knowing" that forms were submitted offline (oxydigm, this is the answer for you too). Don't worry; as long as they send the forms in, you're fine.
