Hello.
Ive taken May subject tests. When should I choose schools to which im going to send scores? Will I know my scores before sending them? If my scores will not be perfect, can I dismiss one of them using score cbice? What are the deadlines? Please help.

With each test date that you test on, you have the option of naming up to four colleges to receive the scores which will be sent to those for no extra charge. You must make the designation by a date certain after the test and thus for the May test you must act quickly. If you fail to designate by the designated date you lose the free sends. If you use the free sends, College Board will send your May scores plus all prior SAT and SAT II scores it has for you except you can choose not to send any of the prior scores by unchecking them in the order to send. You will be sending your May scores blind if you use the free sends because you will not know the scores before they are sent.

Your alternative is to send scores after they come out. That costs $10.50 per college. With that send, CB will also send all scores it has for you but you can choose not to send any one or more scores.

Note, that whether you can choose not to send a score depends on college because a number of colleges require you to send all scores, including SAT II scores. As far as when you must send scores, you do not have to so until the fall when you apply to colleges.
