submitting supplemental material this late in the game?

Does anyone here have any experience with submitting supplemental material at this point in the admissions process, just weeks before decisions are announced? I'd rather not give away too many personal details, but if anyone who has advice on the matter could please PM me it would be much appreciated! If it's just general information about it (e.g. No, kids should never send supplemental stuff to schools at this point!) feel free to post it here for all to see.

P.S. I'm posting this in the parents forum because I'd rather not divulge so much information to kids (no offense, sorry). Plus I figure you guys probably have more experience and knowledge about this sort of thing.

Unless you win Intel this week, it’s kind of late. If you get waitlisted, send it in then with an continued expression of interest.

Hmm. Good idea. However that is considering I get waitlisted and not rejected. Lol

What about sending it to just the regional person? Kind of informally…

I would, what have you got to lose? If you don’t and you get rejected you’ll be angry with yourself. Play every option!
