<p>Is it ok to submit supplements after i send my common app as long as i make it before the deadline (1/1)? Or should i submit everything at once?</p>
<p>I noticed that some colleges on the CA allow you to submit their supplements prior to submitting the actual CA application. Those are the ones that don’t ask for the date of submission. So if your colleges ask for a date of submission, I think you should wait until you’re done with the CA application. Double-check with your counselor.</p>

<p>Just helped DS submit his common app to several schools yesterday. I was surprised to see that one or two <em>required</em> the supplement be submitted first, and several required payment before submitting the common app itself. Seems a little quirky, but on the next go-round we’ll do this order:</p>
<p>1) All supplements
2) All payments
3) Common app (<–almost forgot this one!)</p>
<p>My counselor wasn’t here today so i couldn’t ask her. But it’s fine if i submit the supplement after i submit my common app as long as the schools i’m applying to do not require me to submit my supplements first, right?</p>
