Submitting Test Scores

If you are either an athlete or URM, you may want to consider applying ED anyway, as long as you have other strengths in your application.

I’ve only taken the ACT so far and I plan to apply ED. I’ve already signed up for my subject test dates AFTER I submit my Penn application (just so I don’t have to worry about it during the application process).

Will they hold it against me if I don’t submit them? As in, will they suspect I am with-holding SAT scores? I was unwilling to take the SAT because I performed very well when I took the ACT practice test, compared to my relatively low PSAT scores, but now I’m concerned that they’ll just think I didn’t want to turn them in or something.

^
Whats the point in taking the subject tests than? For your RD schools?

On this topic, does anybody know if it really hurts you not to take subject tests with the ACT test.

^^i’m taking them for my RD schools, correct.

Don’t shoot the messenger.

The intent of the wording is a little ambiguous considering the requirements of EITHER SAT I/II OR ACT. From a cost perspective it is about $10 to send all your SAT scores and $10 to send EACH ACT test result. If you took the ACT twice, that could be $30 just to send your scores to PENN. That is a little over the top.
