I took the ACT yesterday and got destroyed. I did really well on English, Math, and Reading but guessed on like 6 questions for the Science test because I never prepared for the ACT and should not have signed up in the first place. I have around a 2350 SAT score so that'll take care of my testing requirements. Will submitting my ACT score be mandatory?

You can choose to just submit your SAT scores if you feel like you did better on the SAT.

Science portion was really rough… I was on question 15 with half the time remaining, and I had to answer 25 more lmao

I think science is the hardest part on the ACT for anyone

I’m pretty sure my composite will still be like 35 or something. I just don’t want colleges to see the 27 I’ll get on Science juxtaposed next to the 36 I got on the others.

@ cornetking222: Out of curiosity, why did you choose to take the ACT if you already had a great SAT score?

A few schools (I know Yale is included) require you to submit ALL test scores. But most do not. I don’t know much about the ACT, but can you cancel your score?
