I submitted my Common App to Rice University today. On the application, you are given the option to upload an image for “The Box” through the Common App or through the student portal that you will receive after submitting the application. I checked the latter of the two choices, forgetting that it usually takes a few days before you can access the student portal. Right now, I feel like a colossal idiot because now this portion of my application cannot be submitted before the deadline. Do you think that I can still submit it in a few days through the student portal? Is is considered late? Will this negatively affect my admissions chances?
I uploaded a picture of my doge in “The Box” and received an invite to VISION (basically a likely letter). I don’t think it’s anything that will seriously affect your admissions chances.
