Hey CC-lers,
I want to ask you about an important topic.
My counselor today asked me about sending all the required documents online( Schoolprofile, Transcripts incl. Translations, Forms and Supplements).
Now, Stanford for example, recommends to submit everything electronicly, but I don't know about all the other colleges.
Mostly, colleges state on their website, that they want official copies with translations.
Is an uploaded scan of my transcripts, done by me counselor, an official copy?
Nam

AFAIK, all the colleges require the school transcript to be submitted in paper, other documents, such as recs and school report can be submitted using commonapp.

Well, but if so, why there is the interface for uploading transcripts via CommonApp?
Also, Stanford and UChicago prefer this method, so maybe its new, and other colleges haven’t updated it yet?

My counselor sent everything online. I hope it’s OK…

So both the original transcripts and the translations?

Yes, you have to send both.
