Submitting your Common App before the naviance school forms?

<p>Hello, I am planning to submit my Common App in a few hours, but it says that my School Forms are not ready for any of the universities. My school is using Naviance to submit the School forms and I am not sure if my councillor submitted them yet. Is it possible to submit my Common App right now, and have the school forms sent later? Will it pose any problems?
Please answer quick, it's urgent.</p>

<p>Also, I am applying to a number of universities. Most of them have a deadline of January 1,2013. However University of Notre Dame, and Yale University application deadlines are December 31st. Does that mean that I have to submit it BEFORE December 31st, or ON the December 31st? And what time zone do these refer to?

<p>I was having the same problems with Naviance, so I did some digging. Not very easy information to find!</p>

<p>At the bottom, it says you can submit your app before the teacher recs on Naviance, no problem.</p>

<p>The Common App Applicant Center has a long explanation for this, but essentially it says that it is due 11:59 ET, Dec. 31st. Some schools will extend their time or accept different times depending on your time zone (due 11:59 your time zone), but others won’t and will go by either ET or their time zone.</p>

<p>Yale and UND are both ET anyways. You can check their website and call to see if they have the exception, but best be safe and submit 11:59 ET Dec. 31st.</p>
