<p>this may answer only about 1/4 of your question, but i called the fin aid dept and they told me that the loans will run up so i should accept the loan offers before (at least) Nov. As of a result, i don't think you can accept them in..May.</p>
<p>Just max them out. It won't hurt you unless you think you might be irresponsible with the money. If it is indeed excess, then loan less the following year. Or you can pay it back at the end of the year if you insist.</p>
