Does it ever happen that people request sub-free housing and not get it? Just wondering...

oh man i hope not. i put subfree

me too. I'd rather get subfree and none of my other choices than not....(get subfree and get all the other ones)

Yes, it's possible. I was a freshman in sub-free in Forbes this year, and there were several people who wanted sub-free and didn't get it, as well as some people who got sub-free and didn't ask for it. It's a very weird system.

Well, I'm basically going to anticipate that that'll happen to me, and that way I won't be as disappointed :)

If you put sub-free housing as the factor that is most important to you, you will probably get it, or at least a de-facto sub-free area The people I know who asked for sub-free and didn't get it were either placed in single-sex, which is pretty much all people who asked for sub-free as well, or were on the floor above the sub-free area, but placed with someone else who wanted sub-free.
