I have recently heard about UK universities that some of them(LSE, UCL) require you to have a 7 in Math HL. However, If i happen to score a 5 in Ap calculus BC this year, can I use this to substitute for a 7 in Math HL and complete the requirement since I am currently in Math SL course and I do not think that I can managed to have a 7 in Math HL.</p>
<p>Either way, you will have to self-study a number of calculus topics that are present in BC or HL but are not in SL. As far as what the universities want to see, check their web sites.</p>
