subtitute AP books for prepping?

Do I have to buy a SAT subject test book to study for these or can I just read from my AP test prep books? I'm taking US history (using REA) and Biology (Cliffs).

From what I’ve done for SAT II US History and the AP, the questions are not the same.

It seems that the AP focus more on analysis, while the SAT II focuses more on detailed memorization (like, “Who was not a Secretary of State?”)

Of course, the SAT II does have some analysis questions, but the AP totally pwns it.

I would recommend buying another book.

but AP prep books have facts too..

What do you guys think about the SAT2 in World History? Is it ok to use Barrons’ AP World for the SAT2 in WH or are the questions really different?
