UCLA was my first choice of college but I unfortunately did not get in. I am deciding on either going to Cal Poly, UCSB, or possibly UCI. There's a possibility that I may want to transfer after two years at these institutions. I know that it's easier to transfer to UCLA from a CC, but I want to know if there are any people out there that has successfully transfered from a CSU or another UC (Cal Poly and UCSB in specific) to UCLA?

What was your major and how did you prove to UCLA that the classes you took at the CSU or other UC articulates with their classes? I heard that because the UC's courses differ between each campus, that it is harder to do an intercampus transfer. I'm looking for answers from Psychology majors in specific, but welcome any advice from a successful transfers from a CSU/UC to UCLA.

i have the same exact qusetion!! im planning to attend either UCSB or SFSU in film&media studies then transfer two years later into UCLA. I want to know if there’s any successful cases and how difficult it is

Anyone successful in transferring as a junior from a csu to a uc? I know that CCC students have priority, is it impossible to transfer as a csu student? If anyone has successfully transferred from a csu to a uc, what were your stats?

You will have an easier time transferring from UCSB to UCLA. Transfer acceptance rates for UCLA are almost the same for UC to UC transfer and CC to UC transfer (slightly higher from a CC). On the other hand, it’s incredibly difficult to transfer from “Other 4 year”.

also all courses from another uc campus transfer. i go to ucsb and im planning on doing the same thing!

That’s not true rizzledizzle. You’ll get UC credits for all of your classes, but they won’t all actually count for classes at your target university.
