Suck on this one, Firefox users

haha, everyone who thinks they're "safer" with Firefox should check out this article about a report from Symantec.

Haha, I saw this too. Perhaps I should switch back to Opera or MyIE or one of those IE alternatives with tabbed browsing. I need tabbed browsing!

Am I the only guy who still uses IE 6.0?
Never had any viruses or pop-ups with it...

flopsy, i, too, am an IE 6.0 user. also no viruses or popups...yay for us!

FWIW, Opera 8.5 is now free.

psh I have always used IE - never had any problems :)

IE sucks. I always get popups.

talk is cheap. symantec should look at their own lame products. they themsleves are like adwares slowing comps down.

Lol...my whole laptop just got screwed up after installing Symantec software a few days ago.

you probably had existing spyware, etc. on your comp that screwed up the install - that is very often the cause of screwy installations.

Well, I installed the software and ran it for a couple days but it was only after using it a bit that my laptop got ruined. There were no problems specifically during the installation process, so something must be wrong with the program.
