Sucked into a black hole - depression.

You need to set aside time to do NOTHING...

I have felt like you. I think everyone has once felt like you.

Personally, my nothing time is best spent watching movies or hanging out with friends. Little roads trips are a great distraction, too. But this could also be working out(a great stress reliever), taking a walk outdoors, reading a(non academic) book, etc. I'm taking a religious exploration course over the summer not because I'm not comfortable in my faith but because I want to know about others... plus it'll be fun!

You seem VERY focused... which is good, but can be VERY limiting. Try to do some new things. If there's something you do each day, find something different to do.

Good luck and don't get down about it...

if it bothers you to relax by doing "nothing" or hanging out with friends, try a physical activity like running. you'll still be doing some form of work, so it won't seem like you're wasting time. and it might make you feel less restless and more focused.

works for me anyway.
