Suffolk university Boston or Rutgers U New Brunswick?

I posted a thread asking about Loyola Chicago VS Suffolk U Boston, however, I am 100% sure that I don't want to go to Chicago. Now, I think I am leaning towards Suffolk a little more but I just got accepted to Rutgers! I was on the waiting list.

I am glad they replied before it's too late though.

So I don't know which one to choose but Suffolk would cost me around $16,000-$17,000 while Rutgers would cost me a $28,000.

I have many friends in Boston (some attending suffolk and other unis).
I also have relatives in NJ.

I know that Rutgers is definitely the better college but I need to hear ur opinions. I feel as though in Rutgers I will be a small fish in a huge LAKE but in Suffolk I would be a big fish in a small pond.

Suffolk: -Accepted into the Honors Program
-costs much less
-in Boston (which is much more expensive compared to NJ)
-no campus
-classes are small (more attention from professors) --I come from a very small private school
-Small private school

Rutgers:
-Very big state school
-5 mini campuses (I am afraid of being lost - which is weird)
- better reputation
-close to NYC and Philadelphia (for internships)
-Links with UN (partnership)
-more expensive
-large classes (is it true that most classes are 100+?)

I don't know honestly, I will be majoring in Journalism and International relations (politics) in both schools. Which school will help me land a good job seeing as I am an international student? Which school has strong job placement?

I feel intimidated by how large Rutgers is in comparison to my small school and Suffolk. Also is the honors program at Suffolk any good? I mean would it make up for the schools bad rep?

Thank you!!
