Suffolk University Honors Program

My safety school, Suffolk University, has an honors program. I'm thinking of applying simply because, SHOULD I unfortunately end up at my safety school, I'd like to at least be among the honors students...

I have a question, though. IF I am rejected from the honors program, am I ultimately rejected entirely or can I still be accepted regular decision? I meet all the criteria for the honors program, and it comes with a free scholarship, which is why I kinda want to get in (I don't feel good paying alot for a safety school...). The application is very simple, but I don't really know if it is an entirely different college, an entirely different applicant pool, or, if I am rejected, if I get put in the regular pool?

Anyone who knows anything about the Suffolk Honors program should feel free to post whatever they know here. :-)

I believe that you are first considered for admission, and then, if admitted, considered for the honors program. (I know a few kids who applied EA, got in, and then were sent a message saying they should consider the honors program; their acceptance won't be revoked if they don't get into honors.)

So I think you're safe. You might want to call them and ask, though (but leave out the part about it being your safety!)

haha... yea, I sent an email... and no I DIDNT mention it was my safety :-P.

But yea, I'll wait until they respond to apply.
