Safety schools are Wayne State and Michigan State University. The rest of my schools are University of Minnesota, University of Michigan, and Purdue University. Thats all I have so far. What are some good college choices for me and my stats. I want a good program and college city type school. I am thinking about transfering after 2 years to an ivy leauge, but still unsure about this move.

Thanks in advance!

Why? If you go to some place like Minnesota, Michigan, Wisconsin, Delaware, Purdue, or Texas, you will be at a highly regarded school for chemical engineering. Most Ivy League schools do not have as good a reputation in the subject.

That said, watch out for costs. While Minnesota has a relatively low out of state cost, many out of state public schools will be expensive with little financial aid.

Assuming you are a Michigan resident, if you are not certain of MSU being a safety, MTU and WMU also have ABET-accredited chemical engineering degree programs.

bump… anyone else??
