Can anyone suggest a college for me? I'm only a sophomre, so I haven't taken the SAT yet. I did take the Bio SAT II last year, and I did pretty well (700), but it really wasn't my best subject
I got to a REALLY good private school in NYC (30% go Ivy League, almost everyone goes to really amazing schools) and I get all A-'s or A's. In terms of extracurriculars, I'm fairly active. I've been on student government, I do loads of drama, art class, young republican's club, amnesty, newspaper, science club, and I recently joined a bible study group.
One of my main problems is that nearly all of the schools I am interested in are fairly liberal, but i'm conservative and I don't want to be too out of place.
I'm look for a very small college, probably in New England or the Mid-Atlantic. Maybe something like Bowdoin, or a quirky school like St. John's college?
I know college is a while away, but I'd really love some suggestions.

If you want small and quirky, St. John's in Annapolis is definitely a good fit...its not incredibly hard to get into but its still very good and just from your ECs you seem to have a good shot...are you looking at the Pennsylvania/Philadelphia Area schools? Haverford, Bryn Mawr, and Dickinson would be worth a look. However, all of these are somewhat to very liberal...Villanova is more conservative, but larger.

others to look into: Hamilton, Colgate, Trinity (Ct) -- these have a reputation for being preppy if that's your thing
Holy Cross and Boston College are more conservative, but remember that your political opinions may change over the next 6 years. If you are really into politics, you may also want to consider Claremont McKenna in CA.
