Suggest colleges for me? I'm kinda lost

So my family and I are new to the college process and we're not really sure what schools I can get into. I want to major in Economics and prefer to stay in the northeast (I live in NJ). I like the type of campuses similar to Boston College and Middlebury. Any recommendations are greatly appreciated :) Thank you so much for your time!

Your ACT score is pretty decent, and your grades are definitely not too bad. The ranks really good too, but you do go to a small school…
Your race could effect what college you get into (if you are african american, hispanic, or native american your chances will be much higher almost anywhere you apply)
Middlebury would be a pretty big reach, but if you want to go there, you might as well apply because you never know! Boston College would be a reach but probably not as much of a reach as Middlebury, so I would apply if I were you.
Boston University would be less of a reach than Boston College if you like the location.
Northeastern University would be a big reach, but it’s also located in boston.

I think your best bet here is Boston University, most colleges in the northeast are very competitive (the ones I know of at least).

Some other big reaches, (you’re going to want to improve your ACT score to apply here) are Cornell, Brown and NYU.

What they suggest is you pick 3 schools you’re very likely to get into, 3 that are a bit of a reach, and 3 that are big reaches. Do some research and see where you can get into. You can read about campuses and everything on **************.com

chance me?

Thanks so much! The info about choosing 3 of each level school seems like a great piece of advice.
