This is a repost from my thread in the upenn forum...

Guys....tonight was the best night of my life. Now that ALL SAT testing is over, i decided hey..why not have a party. SO at this party, me and my friends decided to burn our SAT and SAT II Books. MANNNN it was great. we burned our books for 3 hours in a big flower pot. At the end, we burned at least 30 textbooks. was the greatest feeling ever.

I SUGGEST EVERYONE HAVE A BOOK BURNING PARTY IN THEIR TOWN! SOCK IT TO ETS! tell me how it goes 2 b/c ours was FRIGGN AWESOME
PLUS it keeps ur mind off of e/d for a couple of hours

LMAOOOOOOOO I'VE ALWAYS THOUGHT OF DOING THAT! BUT THEN SECOND THOUGHTS TOLD ME TO DONATE THESE BOOKS TO THE NEXT POOR SOUL WHO NEEDS TO TAKE THE TEN MILLION SATS I'VE SUFFERED THROUGH. anyway it was a great idea =)

Actually your hurt the revenues of CB/ETS more if you pass the books on or sell them so the next person doesn't pay them more royalties than if you burn them. I can see that what you did is symbolic & cathartic tho.

passing on the books hurts CB/ETS much more unless you decide to hold an Official SAT guide(the blue book) bonfire in front of ETS's main office xD

aritct i like your idea... i actually thoguht of organizing like a facebook group or something where we all log onto the colleboard website at the same time causing their networks to crash. but then i figured we would need ALOT of people to do it.,,

Congratulations, you've just wasted a whole bunch of paper and have contributed in more people going out to buy brand new prep books and generating greater profits for ETS and all the other respective companies.

thisistony... i guess its just us 2 who take pleasure in burning books created to destory our high school lives....great job man. i had more books though =]

Hmm, well i traded my sat II books for a friends sat I books...and she'd already half filled in/scribbled over the book anyway =P So don't think it'd be all that much useful for the next person =P
