That depends what you want in a college. What's your:

Concentration: arts, language, science, math, psych, music?
Atmosphere: intense or party, competative or supportive, intimate or anonymous?
Ideal Student Body: preppy, nerdy, serious and driven or relaxed, diverse or middle-class white, liberal or conservative?
Size: small, medium, large, small honors within large?
Location: city, suburbs, woods; in the West, Midwest, South, New England, Middle States or International?

Do you want small classes? More extra curricular opportunities? Are competative sports very important? Research facilities? What's your standard of beauty for a campus?

There are hundreds of colleges across the nation, and it's impossible to recommend one just by stats. Sorry :)

im still undecided 4 y concentration, and the atmoshpere and setting i dont really mind. although i would like relaxing :) as for location, i was thinking mostly about either the west coast or the northeast

Where do you live? If you're in CA you could look at the UCs (out of state is very difficult to get into, and the pricing is outrageous). Other West coast: Reed, Claremont McKenna or Pamona, Biola (if you're religious), Washington University, Seattle University (Jesuit)

Northeast: Bates, Bowdoin, Colby, Vassar (it's open to males now, if you are one), Haverford, Emerson (for arts), Trinity, Amherst for a reach

i live in nj
