I'm a junior in CA who is already looking into colleges. I want to go to a LAC. Cost isn't really an issue, but any financial aid would still help(I know my dad makes over $300,000, but doesn't tell me anything, lol). I would really like to go to a LAC where student populations doesn't go over 10,000. The LAC would have to have a respected "pre-med" program with a successful history of medical applicants. Thing is...my stats aren't great.

1) I don't really know my unweighted and weighted, all I know is that it will be a 3.70 UC gpa
2)ACT will be 28
3)SAT II US History 740, Chemistry 670, Korean 720
4)300 hours of community service with library, local hospital, and 2 community service clubs(no leadership roles)
5)Yearbook Sections Editor (11th grade)
6)Yearbook Business Manager (12th grade)
7)Youth Group singer/guitarist/treasurer(11-12th grade)
8)Job at restaurant(11th-12th grade 20 hours/week)
9)2 years of California Scholarship Federation(11th-12th)
10)Graduating with a CSF and Business Chord
11)Good teacher recs
12)Counselor rec could be decent
13)Decent essay.

At this point, I don't really care about the asian population at a particular LAC. Thanks.

The largest LAC is Wesleyan in Connecticut, with a population of about 2,800 undergrads. There are no LAC's with thousands of students. Are you really talking about a small to mid-size university or a Liberal Arts College?

Oregon and Washington have many great privates w/ solid science prep for med school acceptance.

There are literally dozens and dozens of schools that meet the criteria you've descibed above where you would have a possible chance of being admitted.

Staying in the West Coast States, the schools that come to mind off the top of my head include:

University of Puget Sound
Seattle Pacific University
Gonzaga
Whitman
Whitworth
Lewis and Clark
University of Portland
Linfield College
Pacific University
Willamette University
Saint Mary's of California
Santa Clara U
USF
USD
LMU
Cal Lutheran U

As far as Pre med programs I know that Pitzer has a 7-year combined program with Western University of Health Sciences where you spend 3 years at Pitzer and 4 years at Western to get your D.O. The link is:

University of Richmond -- around 3,500 kids, the most gorgeous campus, lots of internationals, amazing dorms, -- amazing new science building -- 25 out of 26 graduating premeds last year got into their top choice med school
