Suggest schools with my stats please?

Also, what about Iowa?
does it matter im Hispanic?

what do you like and not like about Clemson?

I like how preppy it is, and how everyones into the school. But that’s about it… I don’t like really like South carolina

U of Colorado, Indiana, Purdue, Michigan State, Iowa, Minnesota, Kansas.

what do you not like about South Carolina? I know some people have some misconceptions about the state and it’s people (including my parents)

I just don’t haha, And it’s not misconceptions i’ve been there a TONNNNNN of times… not being rude but i know you go there it’s just not for me

haha alright I gotcha, was just wondering

Yeah I’ve visited just not my deal

Amanda…

I’ve forgotten. Have you visited all the colleges for which you’ve been accepted?

If you liked the “feel” of Clemson, you’ll find a similar feel at Alabama. My son visited Clemson early on and loved the feel and look of the campus. When he visited Alabama, he found a similar look and feel.

Also…Clemson has that cute area of off-campus hangouts (my son and I had a lot of fun walking around it and checking things out.); Alabama has a similar area called The Strip, which has many restaurants, cafes, shops, etc. It also has off-campus hangouts further away from The Strip called Downtown, and a new fun outdoor mall called Midtown Village which is always crawling with students.

I think you should schedule some campus tours for the schools that you’ve been accepted. :)

I don’t think TAMU takes many OOS students since that state has that 10% rule that prevents many of its own residents from attending TAMU and UT.

Im only visiting when we get a top 3 because that would get way to expensive and i’ve visited the closer ones for parties/sporting events

I mean i guess i liked clemson i just don’t wanna go there im still reluctant on the schools in the south im definitely not a warm weather person, i would have to get used to it

Michigan State. Ohio University and Ohio State.

Also, Miami of Ohio.

Amanda, did you get the Capstone scholarship from UA, since you had an ACT 27? I know that money isn’t an issue for you, and the scholarship isn’t for a lot, but $1500/yr pays for a few extra trips home during the school year if that’s ever desired.

I like Ohio State;

nad… i never got anything about a scholarship? so i dont think?

Amanda, your stats would give you the scholarship. Did you submit the scholarship app?

When do you plan on visiting your accepted schools?

I understand it would give me that, but i never got any information about it… Yep November 28th before the deadline.

Not till March-ish or April.

Amanda…

When were you accepted to UA?

If you haven’t gotten your scholarship notification within another week or so, send an email to Carolyn Rogers at carolyn.rogers@ua.edu

Politely tell her that you haven’t heard anything about your scholarship. Be sure to include your name, address, and CWID number. She’ll get back to within a couple of days. :)

I just had a thought…did you have your ACT 27 score sent to UA???

I was Accepted October 2nd, yeah i’ll do that…
and mhm i did

I’m not sure that I understand what you wrote in that second sentence.

Since you were accepted on Oct 2nd, I’m wondering if you had your late October ACT sent to UA (since at that point, you were already accepted)?

Yeah I had it sent to UA
