Suggest some colleges?

Hi everyone, would be very thankful if you guys could help point me in the right direction.

IB Student at one of the best public schools in Florida, and one of the best IB schools in the world (was ranked 3rd worldwide a few years ago).
White, Swiss citizenship, first generation college applicant, low income.
GPA - 3.7 UW, 4.7 W (Not 100% on this, but I know it's around there, could be higher)
SAT - 2140 (680 CR, 700 M, 760 W)
ACT - 30
No SAT IIs yet, will take them though.
IBs - 6 Math SL, 5 Environment
APs - 4 APUSH, 4 English Lang (1 Physics too, have a reason for this, horrible teacher and other stuff...Don't think I have to include that though)
ECs - 12 years of competitive soccer (captain as leadership role), 3 years of school soccer (1 year as JV captain), Chess Club 2 years, Political Science Club 2 years, Recycling Club 2 years, NHS 2 years.
Community Service - Mandatory 175 [CAS] hours for IB...have 9 more service hours to do and then I am done with that. Also have recycling for Recycling Club every week that is not included in this.
Top 2% of the class (98th percentile)
Essay - About captaining the JV team, we had a kid on there who was deaf and had a speech impediment.
Honors - 2 awards for playwrighting, honorable mention for a social studies documentary on the Ho Chi Minh Campaign, highest section of the honor roll all four years, have had a piece of artwork displayed at a gallery for local art in schools. Sports awards too for soccer, golf, and tennis.
Work - Cashier and busboy at a local gourmet shop/restaurant (9th grade til 11th grade), on and off babysitting freshman year.

My school requires IB students to apply to at least two in-state colleges, I have already applied to UF and USF, and I think these are my "safe" schools...Am I right with that?
However, I also think I can do better than these schools with the work I've put in throughout school...
I am interested in doing a major/minor, I want to do either computer science/computer engineering/civil engineering/aerospace engineering with economics/finance/business.
What sort of schools should I be looking at? I will need pretty good financial aid, as my parents don't make a lot, and are currently in financial difficulties. For now I would just like to hear some actual schools listed, I can do research on class sizes and all that myself. I will probably be applying to Washington and Lee as I have a free application from them.
Thanks in advance.

BUMP, anyone?

Bumping this before I go to school.

“computer science/computer engineering/civil engineering/aerospace engineering with economics/finance/business”

How about Ga Tech, Va Tech?
Seems like going to a large (public?) school is a good start…Purdue?

Not sure which universities have great FA. Check out the site “guaranteed aid” for ideas too.

If you have swiss citizenship, do you also have US citizenship? If not you would apply as an international. Need the answer on this to give you a real answer.

Only a few public Us meet need for OOS students and GT and VT are not among them.

I am a permanent resident (green card), but not a citizen.

If you are low income and your parents don’t have significant assets, study the list of schools that meet need. There are some you should qualify for. You will need to comb for CS majors, that’s a major more common at state school, but few f those meet need.

Yeah, I’m starting to figure that out.
Do you guys think I have a chance at getting into any Ivies, or schools close to that caliber?

Unless your school is so hard that a 3.7 makes you a valedictorian, very doubtful for an Ivy. It looks like you should be safe at UF and USF. For some good merit aid look at Alabama, Auburn, LSU, Tulane

It might be 3.8 or even 3.9, I am checking first thing Monday morning, but do they not really care about weighted GPAs then?

No, not when everyone else has a 4.0…
