Suggest some schools for me

I want to major in Music Industry or Communications.
I want to be located primarily in California, New York, or Chicago - basically the largest cities or near them.
I'm not picky about size. Also, preferably nonreligious schools, and I dont care if its a LAC...

I'm applying to USC and NYU for sure, possibly Columbia College Chicago... what are some other suggestions?

Communications:
Northwestern
Stanford
USC
Syracuse

Music business:
NYU
Belmont (Nashville)
Drexel (Philladelphia)
Columbia C (Chicago)
U Texas Arlington
U Evansville (IN)
U Miami
Drake (Des Moines)

in Boston: Emerson, BU, Northeastern are all great for communications and Boston has an amazing music scene

I'm in NYU Steinhardt's Music Business Program (rated #1 in the country). You can email me at hayon@nyu.edu if you have any questions about it or just want to find out more.

what are your stats?????

my high school stats?

my GPA...i don't know what it is unweighted... i was in the 10%
i got a 1440 SAT

BUT it may make you feel better to know I was Sunday at the Square (meaning you don't need to have those stats to get in)

Krae -

Columbia College in Chicago accepts close to 100% of its applicants. My friend teaches there and says some kids can't even write at a junior high level. I'm sure some of the classes and programs are good, but it's not comparable to an NYU.

Sunday at the Square???????????????????

Northeastern also has a Music Industry major. Also look at Albright College (near Philly i think) and UMass Lowell for Music Business.

communications:
Northwestern (Chicago)
NYU (New York)
UCLA, USC (LA)

Yeah, only the top whatever-the-percentage-is gets those things, so you probably don't have to have an app that looks too much like mine to get in.

For the music industry (if you really want to specialize), you can't beat Berklee in Boston. Lots of practical classes, lots of contacts.
