currently looking at dartmouth/berkeley/jhu

What are your grades?

we only did the IB diploma at our school, so we don’t have a gpa:(

I means. A, B,Cs.

i guess it’s tough to convert directly, but it’s something like:

7= A+, 6=A, 5=B

Try state colleges because for international it’s very hard to get into prestigious schools. (Cornell, Harvard, Upenn)

^^^ Okay do not listen to this guy, clearly just doesn’t want others to succeed.

I mean you have a good chance, you are in the most competitive applicant pool though (international Asians). How does your IB score compare to others at your school?

That 2360 SAT is gonna help… A LOT, I could see you getting into an Ivy potentially.

hypcpb are out for me, 'cos even though 38 points is considered a fairly decent grade (oxford/cambridge cutoff), it isn’t that high in my school. we’re the top IB school in the entire world=.= thankfully my school doesnt rank. There are valedictorians from other schools with 38 though:(

i’ll be happy enough to get into johns hopkins or berkeley:) any idea about my chances for those
