Any suggestions for which dorm to live in for a freshmen engineer? Btw, I am planning to do FPF.

well, there isn't really a dorm good for one major or another. its more about your preferences: if you like a quiet environment for you to study, choose foothill. If you like to relax after a hard test with a ton of friends, chilin and making noise, one of the units. engineering buildings are more towards the foothill side of campus...but that's no biggy, since the campus isn't that big anyway.

FPF is the fall extension for spring ppl right? I don't think you have much of a choice since housing isn't guaranteed in that program and I heard there is a high chance of not getting a dorm also the classes won't be on campus...

Yeah, the classes aren't on campus, so I'm wondering where they are close to. For the dorms, is there any neutral area? I don't really want a completely dead silent dorm, but I also need it to be at least somewhat quiet so I can study sometimes. If not, which ones closest to the library? I'll just walk there and study.

units are closest to the dorms. If I don't get an FPF housing contract I'll go ahead and do APATH

closest to the libraries? well, there are a ton of libraries, but the main ones: Moffit and Doe, foothill is closest.

unit 1/3 are pretty close to the library. foothill is a much quieter area, but it is conveniently close to where your classes are going to be (unless FPF engineering classes are also separated - I have no idea about that).

FPF classes are right next to Unit 2 in the ABSW.
